Addressing Tourism Safety

COORDINATED ACTION

Boosting confidence in the tourism industry

This initiative aims to create a safer environment for tourists, protecting visitors and boosting confidence in South Africa’s vital tourism industry.

At the heart of our initiative is the SECURA Traveller application, a tourist-friendly mobile app designed to provide immediate assistance and support. Launched in August 2023, the BACSA E2 Monitoring Centre has become the national hub for tourist safety.
